Accessibility Statement

BHI Coatings is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible, including those who rely on assistive technologies.

Our commitment

BHI Coatings is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe every visitor, regardless of ability, should be able to learn about our industrial coating and repair services, browse our products, request a quote or a project, and reach our team. We treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how we build and maintain this site.

Standards we follow

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 AA addresses a broad range of needs for people with visual, auditory, motor, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities. We strive to meet this standard across the site, and we recognize accessibility is an ongoing effort. Some content may not yet fully conform, and we are actively working to identify and resolve any gaps.

On-site accessibility tools

Every page includes an accessibility menu, opened from the button at the bottom-right corner. It offers one-click profiles and granular controls, including:

  • Text sizing, line height, and letter spacing, plus a more readable font
  • Link and heading highlighting, and text-alignment options
  • Contrast modes (dark, light, and high contrast), saturation adjustments, and monochrome
  • Custom text, heading, and background colors
  • A text magnifier, a reading guide, and a reading mask
  • A larger cursor, focus and hover highlighting, animation pausing, image hiding, and a simplified read mode

Built-in accessibility features

Beyond the on-site menu, the site is built with accessibility in mind:

  • Keyboard navigation: interactive elements (menus, the search dialog, forms, and the accessibility widget) are operable with a keyboard, with visible focus indicators.
  • Screen reader support: semantic HTML, ARIA landmarks, roles, and labels are used so assistive technologies can convey page structure and content.
  • Reduced motion: the site honors the operating system prefers-reduced-motion setting and suppresses non-essential animation when it is enabled.
  • Responsive design: content reflows at all screen widths without horizontal scrolling, and text can be enlarged without loss of content.
  • Descriptive links and alt text: links use descriptive labels, and meaningful images include alternative text.
  • Skip navigation: a skip-to-content link lets keyboard users jump straight to the main content.

Assistive technology compatibility

This website is designed to work with current versions of popular assistive technologies, including the JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver screen readers, as well as screen-magnification and speech-recognition tools.

Third-party content

Some features may rely on third-party services, for example embedded maps or analytics. While we encourage our partners to follow accessibility best practices, we may not control their content directly. If you encounter a barrier within third-party content, please contact us and we will work to provide the information in an alternative format.

Continuous improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing effort at BHI Coatings. We review the site against WCAG 2.1 AA criteria, incorporate feedback, and address issues as we update the site. Our goal is an inclusive experience for everyone who visits.

Feedback and contact

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you have trouble accessing any content, run into a barrier, or need information in an alternative format, please get in touch:

When you contact us, please describe the issue, the page address, and the assistive technology you were using (if any). That helps us investigate and respond more quickly. We make reasonable efforts to respond promptly.
