BHI Coatings performs crack-bridging and detail reinforcement across Alvin and the Texas Gulf Coast. Daily thermal cycling keeps roof cracks and high-movement details working open. A rigid coating cannot follow that motion, so it splits right at the crack and the leak path is back. Every reopening puts water into the deck and insulation again, which is what drives repeat repairs and interior damage.
How BHI Coatings does crack-bridging and detail reinforcement
We prep the crack and the area around it in the field, then bridge it with a high-elasticity cold-cure membrane that stretches with the substrate. Where the movement is heavy, our crew reinforces the detail with embedded fabric. No hot work, torches, or roof tear-off, and a Belzona 3000-series elastomeric membrane backs the detail work where added stretch is needed.
The detail keeps holding through continued movement instead of cracking back open. The existing roof stays, and the cycle of coming back to the same leak stops.
