ESD and static-dissipative flooring
Static charge builds on insulating floors near electronics or flammable atmospheres, risking equipment damage or ignition.
The need for ESD and static-dissipative flooring
BHI Coatings performs ESD and static-dissipative flooring across Alvin and the Texas Gulf Coast. An insulating floor lets static charge build up next to electronics or a flammable atmosphere. One discharge is enough to damage sensitive equipment, scrap product, or ignite vapor where solvents and process gases are present. In those rooms the floor is part of the safety system, not just a walking surface.
How BHI Coatings does ESD and static-dissipative flooring
We install static-dissipative floor systems that bleed charge to ground down a controlled, continuous path instead of letting it accumulate. Our crew preps the substrate, sets the grounding connections, then applies the system cold-cure with no hot work in the space. Where the same floor needs slip resistance as well, we pair the dissipative buildup with it.
The floor carries charge safely to ground. Sensitive equipment is protected, and ignition risk drops in electronics and flammable-atmosphere areas.

More Anti-Slip Flooring applications
Worn aggregate, oil tracking, and process spills drop floors, stairs, and walkways below safe slip resistance and raise fall risk.
