The need for chemical-resistant industrial floors

BHI Coatings performs chemical-resistant industrial floors across Alvin and the Texas Gulf Coast. A process floor rarely gets attacked one way at a time. Acid, alkali, and mechanical load all arrive together, and ordinary toppings strip, soften, or delaminate under them until product reaches the substrate. Once the slab itself is contaminated, cleanup gets harder and the floor starts heading toward full replacement.

Our method

How BHI Coatings does chemical-resistant industrial floors

We prepare the concrete or steel, then lay a chemical-resistant floor system over it, cold-cure and with no hot work anywhere in the sequence. The buildup answers two things at once: the worst-case spill chemistry underneath and the forklift and impact load on top. Belzona 4111, 4131, and 4181 support the floor and patching layers where the service calls for it.

Typically applied with Belzona 4111, Belzona 4131, Belzona 4181, matched to the service conditions.

The result

The plant gets a floor that answers the spill chemistry and the daily traffic together, installed without taking the slab out for replacement.
