The need for process vessel and drum linings
BHI Coatings performs process vessel and drum linings across Alvin and the Texas Gulf Coast. Welds and access ports go first in a process vessel, knock-out drum, or clarifier, because that is where the product chemistry thins the original liner. Stagnant product in one place and turbulence at the nozzles in another concentrate the attack. When the liner finally gives out, the unit leaks or fouls and the whole process train waits on it.
How BHI Coatings does process vessel and drum linings
Our crew prepares the interior and lines it with a cold-cure system chosen for the specific service, drawing on the Belzona 4341 and 5811 immersion-grade coatings. The shell, the welds, and the access ports all take the same continuous film, so no recoating seam is left behind. It cures at ambient temperature, with no hot work inside the vessel.
Typically applied with Belzona 4341, Belzona 5811, matched to the service conditions.
The vessel rejoins the process inside the shutdown you already have, with welds and ports protected under a single lining.
